Why does MEAP fail when exporting a folder track?
This applies to Cubase 5.x, Nuendo 5.x, Cubase 6.x onwards
Due to the default track colouring methods, folders can bay many different colours.
If you have folder tracks in your project, MEAP needs to know that they are the same colour that MEAP is expecting. If they are not, your MEAP export may stop with an error.
This can be easily solved by setting folder tracks to the default colour Grey.
So if you are using folders in your MEAP export – It is always best practise to make sure folders are coloured Grey.
