Extra Options #1

Save New Project

If this box is checked, MEAP will save your project with a number (my_project.cpr becomes my_project-01.cpr) before MEAP starts exporting or makes any changes to your project (i.e. removing empty tracks etc.) This will enable you to revert to the original project after exporting if required.

Remove Empty Tracks

This will remove all empty tracks before beginning export.

Bypass EQ / Inserts / Sends

MEAP will automatically bypass your choice of EQ / Inserts / Sends before export starts. (Please remember to re-enable after export)

Note that this is a TOGGLE switch. So if any of these are already OFF - MEAP will simply toggle them back ON. There is no way for MEAP to get the initial state of the bypass mode.

Zoom Tracks 2 Rows

If this box is checked, MEAP will zoom your tracks to 2 rows height before starting export. It is handy to leave this option checked as it will help make sure the c4solo Solo button is clearly visible.

Skip Muted Tracks

MEAP will find a muted track that is selected ready for export, it will then skip this track altogether. Handy if you don't want to re-arrange your project to export only certain tracks. In order for this to work the program must be able to "see" your mute button c4mute like this:

Skip Open Folders

MEAP will find a selected open folder track, it will then skip this track altogether. Handy if you don't want to re-arrange your project to export only certain tracks. Or if you want to export track inside a folder but not the folder (group of tracks) itself. In order for this to work the program must be able to "see" the open folder icon c5folderopen like this:

Note: If using this option in Nuendo, track colours must be turned off, as the track colour affects the colours of the folder. In Nuendo 5, folder colour must be set to GREY.

Skip Closed Folders

MEAP will find a selected closed folder track, it will then skip this track altogether. Handy if you don't want to re-arrange your project to export only certain tracks. In order for this to work the program must be able to "see" the closed folder icon c5folderclosed like this:

Note: If using this option in Nuendo, track colours must be turned off, as the track colour affects the colours of the folder. In Nuendo 5, folder colour must be set to GREY.

MP3 Export (V3 apps) Removed from MEAP 6.45 onwards

MEAP will now automatically skip through the extra dialog - ID3 Tag Options - that appears in earlier V3 programs when doing an mp3 export.
