Key Commands Reference

Setting Key Commands in your audio application is the first and most important step towards getting MEAP to work well.

This item is only intended for reference if you intend to enter key commands manually.

If you have used MEAP's supplied key commands (as in the Setting Key Commands section), you do not need to use this section.

By far the best way to set up MEAP's key commands in your audio application is to use the supplied MEAP keys. See Setting Key Commands.

In order to do this. Please follow these simple steps:

Open your audio application and on the menu go to: File > Key Commands...

You will then see a dialog box enabling you to selected an item on the left and choose shortcut keys for that item.

If you are worried that you may run out of spare keys or if MEAP requires the use of some keys that you already have assigned you can simply save your existing key commands as a preset before you start adding MEAP's required key commands.

Once you have set up all the keys that MEAP requires you can save your MEAP key commands as another preset.

Please also make sure that you are not using any of the following keys as HOT-KEYS to trigger other things on your computer. (e.g. F2 triggers screen-saver).
