SETTING Key Commands

This step is very important! Many features of MEAP will not work correctly if the following key commands are not set.

A key command set is now included with MEAP and is automatically installed to your audio application's key command presets folder.

MEAP now installs all the correct key commands for you. You just need to select them in your audio application's "Key Commands" area.

Key Command Dialog

Open your audio application and on the menu go to: File > Key Commands...

You may wish to save your existing Key Commands first so you can switch back to them after you have finished your MEAP session

When you see the dialog box above- Select MEAPKeysV5 (for V5 audio apps), MEAPKeysV4 (for V4 audio apps) or MEAPKeysV3 (for V3 audio apps).

Hit OK to exit the dialog. That's it you're good to go.

NOTE: If for some reason, the Key Commands were not copied on installation, (in this example Cubase 10.5):

Close your Audio Application
Go to: C:\Users\[YOUR USER  NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Phil Pendlebury\MEAP\MEAPkeys
There you will see all the key command files
Copy the Key Command file you find in the above folder to:
C:\Users\[YOUR USER  NAME\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5_64\Presets\KeyCommands
Start your audio application and select the correct Key Commands
