The MEAP installer should copy the MEAP key commands into the folder:
Windows 10 / Windows 7 / Vista: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\[AUDIO APP]\Presets\KeyCommands
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\Steinberg\[AUDIO APP]\Presets\KeyCommands
Hidden Folders must be visible to see this area. Folder Options > View > Show hidden files and folders.
Some users have mentioned that this folder has not been created by the Cubase / Nuendo installer and consequently MEAP’s key commands aren’t being copied there.
If this affects you – the simplest way to deal with it is:
- Make the KeyCommands folder in the location above.
- Copy the MEAPKeysVx.xml file to the above folder.
You will find the MEAPKeysVx.xml file here:
Windows 10 / Windows 7 / Vista: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Phil Pendlebury\MEAP\meapkeys\
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\Phil Pendlebury\MEAP\meapkeys\
